Pretty Pink Posh release

So if you know me, you know I’m a little smitten with Pretty Pink Posh….okay I’m a lot smitten. The September release this year had me gasping so loud everyone was asking if I was ok. Now let me jump right to the fact that I am not affiliated with nor do I get paid by Pretty Pink Posh to advertise for them ( my dream though is to be on their design team one day🤞) I am however a fan and want to send them some light!

The September release is filled with gorgeous images and pumpkins galore!

My favorite items in this release are the “Pumpkin Patch Critters ” and the “Halloween Pals”. I used both in the following card.

I wanted to make a dimensional card and showcase all the brilliant stamps that Pretty Pink Posh came up with; so with a little planning and a bunch of foam tape, I came up with the following card.

I started out by stamping a bunch of images from the pumpkin patch critters set on some Neenah solar white cardstock. Using the following Copic markers I colored in the images and then fussy cut them out.

Using a highlight, mid-tone, and shadow tone in the neutral gray Copics I colored from darkest to lightest to give the cat some dimension. The last step was to add some pink to his little ears and nose 🙂

Next I was onto my favorite fall item PUMPKINS!

Using a highlight mid-tone and shadow for the stem and body of the pumpkin, I got started coloring right away. The Copic colors I used can be found in the pictures below.

After coloring the kitty I went on to color the other critters in the same fashion.

Next I gathered this lovely patterned paper I had laying around and some Neenah Desert Storm paper.

I cut the Desert Storm paper and patterned paper to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 and used an older hero arts die from last falls release

Once my die cut had been finished I got out my favorite Tim Holtz distress ink and a blender by ranger. Lightly I blended some vintage photo ink onto the outer edges of my diecut Neenah cardstock.

Next I layered all my pieces together to try and find the right area to adhere my critters down and still be able to see them clearly.

Once my critters were placed and adhered where they needed to be, I heat embossed the “Happy Halloween” sentiment from the Halloween pals stamp set.

The next step was to adhere the patterned paper and die cut cardstock together. Using 3D foam tape I outlined the card stock and placed the two sheets of paper together. Already you can see the dimensional effect I was going for but I was not done yet.

Using more foam tape I popped the cat and mouse critters on the front of the die cut cardstock.

Next I layered some brown patterned paper underneath the diecut cardstock and added some Pretty Pink Posh Espresso jewels to the front.

The final step was to mount all this cuteness onto a card base.

These are by far my favorite stamp sets to date and because Pretty Pink Posh is always bringing bigger and better items I’m sure the next release will be even better.

I hope you enjoyed crafting with me today and will come back again for more cards and stamping fun.
